Employee Free Choice Act Passes the House

March 2, 2007. The House of Representatives voted by a margin of 241–185 to pass the Employee Free Choice Act H.R. 800, which would level the playing field when workers seek to organize a union.

A FEW WORDS ON THE CONGRESSIONAL MIDTERM ELECTIONS

I’m not going to tell anyone who to vote for. But in this important election with control of Congress on the line, there is one party in particular to punish. And that is the Republican Party. By far this Republican Congress has been the most anti-worker, anti-union, anti-family, anti-environment and pro-big business Congress in decades.
